Benjamin B. Patten

ST. GEORGE – Benjamin B. Patten died Friday morning at the residence of his daughter, Dr. Laurie Guyatt, of Dundas. He was born in Burford, and lived in St. George for many years. He was a civil engineer, and after serving in the First World War, he was public and continuation school secretary-treasurer her for many years. He was also head of the hydro commission. He was a member of St. George Baptist Church and St. George Lodge, A.F. and A.M. Surviving are two daughters. Mrs. Roland (Helen) Kendall, of Port Credit and Dr. Guyatt, and five grandchildren. Mr. Patten is resting at the Bannister and Glaves Funeral Home until Monday for service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery.
