Letters and documents

BX November 6, 1918

Word was received in Toronto yesterday that Corporal Arthur Jones had been dangerously wounded in the recent fighting. Cpl. Jones was a sergeant in the 215th Battalion here, and went overseas with that unit. He was one of the best and most conscientious N.C.O.’s of the regiment, and had many friends in Brantford. He is a nephew of Major T. Harry Jones, city engineer. Corporal Jones’ brother, Harold, served as a lieutenant and was wounded in 1916.
