Arthur John Foster Officially Reported Killed in Action

The official word as to Private Arthur John Foster’s death came here addressed to Mrs. Nellie Foster, R.R. No. 5. The Patriotic Fund representatives could not locate any such person, and The Expositor records show that he enlisted from 148 Market Street, he being 17, single and a farmer. It is hoped that Mrs. Foster will make herself known.

Arthur John Foster Wounded

Mrs. R.W. Hunt, late of 148 Market Street, and now of Brantford Township, received word today that Private Arthur John Foster, who left Brantford with the first overseas battalion of the Dufferin Rifles, was in No. 30 General Hospital, France, with a gunshot wound in the left elbow.
