Cause and Place of Death: Died (Pneumonia) – No. 12 Canadian General Hospital, Bramshott

BX September 10, 1918

Died in Bramshott from Pneumonia

In Bramshott, England, Private Alfred Nathaniel Pearson, who went overseas a few months ago with the 2nd C.O.R. draft, has died from pneumonia. The soldier’s mother, Mrs. Caroline Pearson, 46 Jarvis Street, heard the sad news today. Her son died on September 8th before he had time to strike his blow for victory, yet her consolation will be that he was far on his way to doing his best. He was widely and well known in Brantford, as he was a conductor on the street railway before he joined the army. Another son is left to comfort the soldier’s mother in her grief.
