Last of Family Killed in Action - Mother and Two Children Were Lost On "Empress of Ireland"

Many readers of The Expositor will recall the sad incident connected with the loss of the Empress of Ireland, when Mrs. Tarry and her two children lost their lives whilst on a holiday trip to England. Mr. Albert Tarry, husband and father, was left to mourn their loss. Shortly after, he left Brantford for the Old Country, from there enlisting with the Notts and Derby Regiment. News recently received in this city states that Pte. A. Tarry had been killed in action. Whilst in Brantford deceased worked for the Brandon Shoe Company.
