Is Recovering

The many friends of Major Adam Perceil Shultis of the 125th Battalion will be pleased to hear that he is recovering satisfactorily from the recent accident which befell him. Major Shultis was struck by a portion of a stump while dynamiting was being engaged in at Camp Borden. He is convalescing at Barrie and while there he and Mrs. Shultis are the guests of Major and Mrs. McLean. Major Shultis expects to be able to resume his duties by the beginning of the week and take charge of A. Company again, of which company Lieutenant Harold Brant Preston has been in command during his absence.

To Undergo Operation

Major Adam Perceil Shultis of the 125th Battalion, who failed to pass the final doctor’s test necessary before proceeding overseas, left yesterday for Toronto to undergo an operation in the hope that it will be successful enough to permit of his accompanying the battalion. The major is evidently not to be easily turned from his desire to have a crack at the Huns.
